The “Simple Store Credit & Wallet for WooCommerce” plugin by RelyWP is built directly into Coupon Affiliates, and is the recommended way to pay affiliate commission out as store credit. Unlike the other wallet plugins, no separate integration addon is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commission is added straight into the affiliate’s wallet in one click, and they can then spend it at the cart\/checkout using the credit redemption tool. The integration works with both the free and PRO versions of the plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the plugin settings, go to the “Payouts” tab and open the “Store Credit Payouts” section. In the “Wallet System” dropdown, select “(Recommended) Simple Store Credit & Wallet – by RelyWP”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the plugin isn’t installed yet, an information panel will appear with an “Install Free Version Now” button, so you can install it without leaving the settings page. If it is already installed but not activated, the button will say “Activate Plugin Now” instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Until Simple Store Credit is installed and activated, the free built-in store credit system continues to handle any payouts, so nothing will break in the meantime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once it is active, the panel will show a “Connected” badge, along with the current status of the wallet plugin’s two credit systems: “Account Credit” and “Credit Vouchers”. If both of these are disabled in the Simple Store Credit settings, a warning is shown, since there would be no way to deliver a payout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Payout Delivery Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n How payouts are delivered to the affiliate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Voucher Expiry (Days)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The number of days until a payout voucher expires. Set this to 0 to use the expiry configured in the Simple Store Credit settings (or no expiry at all).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Voucher delivery requires “Credit Vouchers” to be enabled in the Simple Store Credit settings. If it isn’t, the payout falls back to the account balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Include voucher credit in displayed balance?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If enabled, the store credit balance shown to affiliates (and in the admin area) will include the value of their unused credit vouchers, in addition to their account balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These last two options only apply when “Credit Voucher” is selected as the delivery method, so they are hidden otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The “Custom Affiliate Commission Text” setting further down the Store Credit Payouts section is used as the note on each wallet transaction, so the affiliate can see what the credit was for in their wallet activity history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The “Bonus Commission” option also applies to this wallet system, so you can still reward affiliates with extra commission for choosing store credit as their payout method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The “Store Credit” column on the WordPress users list is supported for this wallet too, so you can see affiliate balances at a glance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If a payout is reversed, the amount is deducted from the affiliate’s account balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Payouts that were delivered as vouchers cannot be automatically revoked, so if you use voucher delivery you will need to cancel the voucher yourself in the Simple Store Credit settings if required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If any of your users still hold a balance in the built-in store credit system, a migration panel appears at the bottom of the integration settings, showing how many users are affected and the total value of that credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Click “Open Migration Tool” to go to “Store Credit > Migration” in the Simple Store Credit settings, where “Coupon Affiliates – Built-in Store Credit” is listed as a source. From there you can choose to either add the built-in balances to the affiliates’ wallet balances, or override their wallet balances with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can also optionally import each affiliate’s past store credit payouts into their wallet activity log. These are added for reference only and do not change the balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Users who have never held built-in credit are skipped, which protects any wallet balance they already have when using “override” mode. A negative built-in balance is skipped too, since it can’t be represented in the wallet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Clearing the built-in balances<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Once the migration has run and you have checked the wallet balances look right, use the “Clear Built-in Balances” button in the same panel. This empties the built-in balances so that credit can’t be spent from both systems at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nothing is destroyed: each balance is backed up to the “wcu_store_credit_backup” user meta field first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The recommended order is: run the migration, verify the wallet balances, then clear the built-in balances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once a migration run has covered every user holding built-in credit, the panel shrinks down to a small footer line showing the date it completed, with a “Migration Tools” link if you need to go back. The “Migration” item is also removed from the Store Credit admin menu again, as long as the built-in wallet was the only migration source on offer – the tool itself stays reachable from that footer link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
