Assign affiliate coupons to orders in bulk, so the affiliate earns commission for orders that weren’t tracked at the time. Instead of editing orders one by one, you enter a list of order IDs and coupon codes, or upload them as a CSV.

Assigning coupons

1. Enter an Order ID and the Coupon Code you want to link it to.
2. Haga clic en Add New + for another row, or Delete to remove one.
3. Haga clic en Assign Coupons.

Results appear underneath the form, one message per row. Rows that succeeded are removed from the table automatically; anything that failed stays on screen with the reason, so you can correct it and submit again.

Importing a CSV

Use the Import (CSV) field to load a list instead of typing it out. The file needs two columns – order ID first, coupon code second:

The first row is treated as a header and skipped. Anything other than letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens and underscores is stripped out of the values. The rows are loaded into the table rather than submitted straight away, so you can check them before clicking Assign Coupons.

What this does, and what it doesn’t

This sets the order’s referring affiliate coupon, which is what the affiliate’s statistics and commission are based on.

It does not apply the coupon’s discount to the order. The customer’s total is untouched – the coupon is only being linked to the order for tracking and commission.

If the order was already credited to a different coupon, the statistics are moved across: removed from the old coupon, added to the new one, and the commission recalculated.

Errors you might see

“Order ID is required.” / “Coupon Code is required.” – one of the two boxes on that row is empty.

“Order does not exist.” – no order with that ID. Check you’re using the order ID, not the order number, if a plugin changes your order numbering.

“Order status is completed. Affiliate coupon cannot be assigned to completed orders.” – this tool won’t touch completed orders. You can still assign one from the order itself using the Add a tracking coupon to this order link in the Coupon Affiliates box.
