Warning: this will refresh stats for past orders, unless you have enabled the option “Never update the saved “commission” value for past orders.” in the Debug settings tab.

You can refresh statistics from Debug (all coupons), a single order, View Affiliate, or the coupon edit screen.

Which refresh recalculates a saved order commission?

If you have enabled “Never update the saved “commission” value for past orders” in the Debug settings tab, the different refresh tools behave differently:

  • Debug → Refresh All Data – Flags every coupon so its statistics are rebuilt the next time the affiliate dashboard or a report is loaded. It does not recalculate anything immediately.
  • Coupon edit / View Affiliate → Refresh Statistics – Rebuilds that coupon’s totals from its orders straight away. With the “never update” option enabled, each order’s already-saved commission is reused rather than recalculated, so an incorrect saved figure stays as it is. To correct it, switch the option off, run Refresh Statistics, then switch it back on if you want past orders protected again.
  • Per order (Coupon Affiliate box → Recalculate) – Deletes that order’s saved commission and statistics and rebuilds them from scratch. This works even when the “never update” option is enabled, and is the quickest fix for a single order with a wrong figure.

If a commission figure looks wrong, hover the commission amount in the Coupon Affiliate box on the order first – it shows a breakdown of the rate used and any fixed per-order or per-product amounts. See Commission breakdown on orders.

What a refresh does not change

An affiliate’s Commission non rémunérée is a running balance rather than a calculated figure. It is added to once, when an order reaches the payout status, and after that it is only changed by payouts, refunds, rewards, the grant and deduct links on an order, and manual edits. No refresh recalculates it.

So if an order granted the wrong amount, recalculating that order corrects the order’s own figures, but the amount already added to the balance stays as it is. To correct it, edit the Commission non rémunérée value on the coupon and tick the confirmation checkbox underneath before saving. See Comment modifier la "commission non payée" d'un affilié ?

A full Refresh Statistics does re-sum the Processing commission, but the Unpaid figure is only re-read from what is stored.

If a figure still looks wrong after a refresh, check whether it is a reported statistic (Sales, Commission, Processing) or the unpaid balance, as the two come from different places.

Debug (all coupons)

You can refresh stats for all your coupons in the Debug settings tab:

Per order

You can also refresh the stats for a specific order from the Coupon Affiliate box, using the Recalculate button:

View Affiliate

On View Affiliate, use Refresh Statistics to recalculate a coupon’s all-time statistics. It runs with a live progress bar. You can refresh one coupon, or several selected coupons at once. The coupons table updates as each one completes.

If a coupon still needs calculating, the notice on View Affiliate has a button that opens Refresh Statistics. The notice is hidden once the refresh completes.

Coupon edit

On the coupon edit screen, Refresh Statistics is on the Coupon Affiliates box. It recalculates that coupon’s statistics immediately from the admin area, with a live progress bar.

After it finishes, the all-time Sales, Commission and Processing figures on that box update. The Unpaid figure is re-read from what is stored rather than recalculated – see “What a refresh does not change” above.

Reset Start Date

On the coupon edit screen, Reset Start Date sets the coupon’s history start date and recalculates its statistics in one step. Changing the Coupon History Start Date also triggers a statistics refresh.

See Définir la date de début de l'historique des coupons.
