Today marks a major milestone for Coupon Affiliates.

10 years ago, the first version of Coupon Affiliates was created, beginning a journey that has transformed a simple plugin into a comprehensive affiliate solution for WooCommerce.

We want to take this opportunity to reflect on our history, celebrate how far we’ve come, and most importantly, thank you for being a part of it.

From a Simple Need to a Powerful Solution

Coupon Affiliates began in 2015 with a straightforward customer request: a tool to help a store owner track their WooCommerce coupon usage.

This initial feature was released as a free plugin, “WooCommerce Coupon Usage”, on wordpress.org.

What happened next was driven entirely by community feedback.

Users began reaching out with feature requests, highlighting a clear demand for more advanced capabilities. This user feedback was what to creating the PRO version and guided our development roadmap, one feature at a time.

The most significant advancement was the addition of a dedicated affiliate dashboard, commission tracking, and referral links.

This update led to a new name and a new mission: Coupon Affiliates
